Erika Schroder, Office Manager

Erika, our exceptional Office Manager, has worked at SchroderLaw, P.C. every day for the past 10 years, beginning when she was still in high school. Erika manages the phones and acts as our office and case manager. As a native of Forest Hills, Erika graduated Forest Hills Central, class of 2006.  She obtained a Criminal Justice Degree from Ferris State University, graduating magna cum laude, in 2011.  is currently pursuing her law degree at West Michigan University Cooley Law School. A real animal person, Erika always brings at least two of her four dogs with her to work.

 


 

Matthew Hays, Law Clerk

Matt, our valuable law clerk, has worked at the firm since early 2014.  A buckeye at heart, Matt grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio.  With an academic scholarship, Matt graduated from The Ohio State University cum laude in 2012 with degrees in both Sociology and Criminology & Criminal Justice Studies.  In May 2015, Matt will be graduating cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law.  As a tech-support guru, Matt has been invaluable in setting up and managing the firm’s network and websites.  As a law clerk, he has been helpful in assisting our clients directly, as well as providing some legal research and writing when necessary.  Matt is a proud supporter of his Michigan State Spartans and Ohio State Buckeyes, but was raised a fan of the most successful college basketball team in history.


 

Kate O’Mara, Secretary

Kate has been our skilled Secretary since late 2014.  Originally from Ionia, Kate graduated from Ionia High, class of 2011. Shortly after, she moved to Grand Rapids to attend college at Grand Rapids Community College, where she recently graduated with an associates in Business Administration. Kate was originally a culinary student and will be going back to get her certificate for baking and pastry. She enjoys going to hockey games and rooting on the Griffins, and if lucky enough, watching the Red Wings play at The Joe Louis Arena
